If you’re already taking advantage of Twitter then this new tool is a must have for monitoring the Twitter timeline. The Free product, Sideline, is from Yahoo. It basically allows you to  create and group custom queries by topics of interest. So, if you want to know what the latest tweets are on “CEO coaching” do a quick search using Sideline and the results will be saved under a tab that you can name anything that you want. Do another search, “Vegetable Extraordinaire”,  and save that under a different tab. It’s quite useful if you want to know what the latest opinion is about your topic of business.

Yes, there are a few usability flaws, but nevertheless this tool is another proof that Twitter search is definitely ranking in the ranks. No wonder Google has plans to buy them. Errr..where’s Live Search in all this discussion?
